Eligibility conditions for the visiting scientists
- To be eligible to benefit from the EFNUDAT short-term visit support, a scientist must satisfy the following two conditions:
- he must be citizen from a EU Member State or from Switzerland
- he must come from a country other than the country where the institute is located. This condition shall not apply when the legal entity of the institute is an international European interest Organisation (e.g. CERN)
- Only scientists that are entitled to disseminate the knowledge they have generated under the project are eligible.
- The PAC will base its selection on criteria as scientific merit and added-value, taking into account that priority should be given to scientists who have not previously been supported by EFNUDAT.
- The proposed collaborations must be situated in one of the following research domains:
- waste transmutation and minimisation, accelerator-driven systems
- improved reactor operation and fuel management
- advanced innovative nuclear energy systems
- nuclear reactor safety
- advanced methods in nuclear technologies, safety and security.
