Accelerator type:

Tandem: 15 MV (a few nA up to a few µA )
ALTO: 10 to 50 MeV (10 µA) electron linac with photo-fission RIB source

Ion Beams:
Tandem:
- Stable ion beams, from p to Au;
- Cluster beams C60n+ (50 MeV) or Au100,2002+ (20 MeV)
ALTO: e- (linac); ~30 keV neutron-rich beams produced with photo-fission source.

Time structure:
Tandem: DC, pulsed (1 ns, 10 MHz)
ALTO: pulsed (100 Hz)

Neutron Energy Range:
Tandem: up to 12 MeV
ALTO: up to 50 MeV

Neutron Measurements:
Charged particle induced reactions
fission and capture cross sections
surrogate neutrons using ‘reaction transfer technique’
